Delivery and Fitting
We deliver in our own van, with two of our site team, and they fit the cabinet. Nothing you have waited months for goes onto a pallet network, and nobody who has never seen the piece before carries it through your front door.
Why every cabinet is delivered and fitted by our site team
A gun cabinet is not furniture that can be left in a hallway for somebody else to deal with. It is heavy, it is awkward, and it only does its job once it is anchored properly — into masonry or structural timber, never into plasterboard. Getting that wrong is not a cosmetic problem.
So there is no collection option and no carrier option. Two of our site team come with every delivery, they bring the cabinet in, they fix it, and they hand it over working. That is the only way we do it.
What delivery and fitting costs
Nothing extra. Delivery and fitting is included in the price of every cabinet, anywhere in mainland Great Britain: two of our site team, the van, the fixings and the fitting, with no separate line on your quotation.
Before we come
We will have surveyed the room already, so the wall, the route in and the fixing are known before anything is made. Where we have not surveyed — a freestanding cabinet going to an address we have not visited — we will ask you for the doorway widths, the stair, and a photograph of the wall it is going against.
Tell us early if the wall is not what it looks like. Stud partitions, dry-lined masonry and chimney breasts full of nothing all change the fixing, and we would far rather know at the drawing stage than on the day.
Stairs and upper floors
Delivery is to a ground-floor room as standard. We are glad to take a cabinet upstairs, but it has to be agreed before you place the order rather than on the doorstep — we need to know the stair, the turn and the doorway. Above the first floor is by prior arrangement only.
Where a cabinet will not go up a stair at all, we will tell you at the drawing stage and design it to come apart. That is a normal thing to do and it costs nothing extra if we know early. It is a serious problem if we find out on the day.
We telephone to agree a day
And give you a time window the evening before. If a door needs leaving open or a car moving off a drive, we will say so then.
Fitted, filled and checked
They fix it, hang the doors, fit the racking to your gun list and take the packaging away. Look it over while they are there.
We do not advertise your address
We do not publish client names, house names or street names, and we do not discuss one client’s arrangements with another.
We can hold a finished cabinet
Building works overrun. We will store a finished piece at the workshop for a short period at no charge — tell us as early as you can.

Made to order
Every cabinet is made from scratch to your specification — your size, your timber, your finish, drawn and approved by you before a board is cut, and the racking cut to your own gun list. Nothing here is a stock item.
Because of that, the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply to our cabinets, and an order cannot be cancelled or returned once the drawings are approved and making has begun.
This does not affect your legal rights. If a cabinet arrives damaged, faulty, or not as we described it, we will put it right.
Responsibility for meeting the security condition on your certificate rests with you as the certificate holder, and the adequacy of any storage arrangement is a matter for you and your local firearms licensing department. We agree the specification with your firearms enquiry officer before we make anything — see the FEO process.
